Exactly two years ago, I worked my first day as a full-time freelancer. I resigned from my office job two months earlier and so it’s only fitting that today I’m launching a project that will shape my travels in the following 12 months – and hopefully yours as well.
What am I talking about?
It came to me shortly after a friend reminded me that I’d be turning 30 this year. I suddenly noticed these articles all over the web: “25 things to do before you turn 25”, “30 places to visit before you turn 30”. On the other end of the scale were people I knew who were working their butts off to have the money to go traveling later when they’d have time.
“Bullocks”, I thought.
You’re never too old to start working on your bucket list and neither should you wait for the day when you’ll have enough money/time as that day might never come, or you might not be as physically fit anymore when it does.
But I realized that I wasn’t being true to my own thoughts. After all, there were plenty of things I still wanted to do that I hadn’t actively pursued yet.
So why not start now?
1 year, 30 travel missions
That’s what #Anydaysgood is all about. It’s a travel challenge I set myself to go after 30 of my travel dreams while I’m 30 – between February 12, 2017 and February 12, 2018 – but it’s also a challenge I’m setting you.
Think about all those things you’ve always wanted to do – no matter how hard to reach or how insignificant they may seem – and go do them. The following 12 months. Together with me.
Let’s get out there and meet the world. Let’s explore it, enjoy it and share it. Chocolate knows it needs a bit of passion and positivity.
Are you ready to spice up your travel life? Head over to the #Anydaysgood page and read all about how you can join the challenge.
And if you have friends or family who’d be interested in joining too, please share this post with them. The more we are, the more we can support and encourage each other!
