“Sofie helped refine my pitch to capture exactly what services I offer, so I’m able to send a crystal clear pitch to potential clients” – Milou, Exporista.nl
Brands are collaborating with bloggers to get their names out there, which has created a wealth of opportunities for us bloggers to diversify our income streams by introducing our audiences to brands we love, use and believe to be interesting to them.
But how do we go about that?
While there are tons of blogs that teach you about making money from a blog, most, if not all of them focus on things like growing your traffic, creating ebooks or courses and doing affiliate marketing. When it comes to working with brands, travel, food and other bloggers usually just put up the occasional one-off post letting their audiences know how they make a living and further keep the knowledge exchange limited to Facebook groups and blog conferences.
I’d like to change that by sharing with you the knowledge I’ve gained from working with 100+ brands, both unpaid (as I was getting started) and paid.
So, what can I help you with?
1. Media kit review
Your media kit can make a brand go “WOW” or *YAWN*. Make sure it does the former.
Together we’ll craft or restyle your media kit to make sure it’s in line with your brand’s goals and content focus. We’ll highlight your strongest selling points, optimize the copy and get rid of any clutter.
2. Pitch review
Brands receive dozens of pitches every week. Make sure yours stands out.
Based on the brand and background information you provide me, we’ll go over your pitch to make sure it’s tailored to that specific brand. We’ll check if it holds all the necessary information, clearly communicates your offer and uses persuasive copy.
3. Pitch writing
As a Master in Literature & Linguistics with three years of copywriting experience for an international publishing house, as well as two years of experience as an independent copywriter, I craft pitches that intrigue, persuade and sell.
Let me know who you want to pitch what kind of offer, provide me with all the information I need to craft your pitch, such as relevant statistics and answer my questions to ensure I understand 100% what you’re trying to achieve. I’ll also ask you about any valuable information or selling points I think might be missing. What you’ll get back is a ready-to-use pitch so that all you need to do is copy/paste it and wait for a reply!
3. Offer and package creation
Having an awesome blog with an engaged audience is one thing, creating valuable packages to sell to a brand is another.
Together we’ll go over your current offer as well as your blog’s strongest selling points to create packages that fit what you love to do, what works well for your audience and what different brands may need. We’ll including pricing and customization options so that by the time we’re done, you have a clear rate card for internal use or to pretty up and send to brands.
A combination of all the things
Seriously, whatever mix of the above you want or whatever pitching perfect you’re faced with. Get in touch and I’ll help you figure it out.
