Start planning your Iceland trip today!
I travel about 20 times a year and always thoroughly research my trips to make sure I get the most out of them without coming home more exhausted than I left. I share most of these trips on the blog but usually in bits and pieces. For Iceland, I’ve created this detailed yet fluffless day-to-day itinerary that has everything in one spot.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from what I can find in a traditional guidebook?
While guidebooks offer a ton of information, they rarely offer ready-to-use day-to-day programs and still force you to do a lot of research and planning on your own. This itinerary is the exact program I planned for the Iceland trip I went on with my dad. It is all you need to book a week along the south coast in Iceland. Nothing more, nothing less.
Why should I follow your advice?
I travel abroad about 20 times a year and have planned everything from weekend city trips to multi-week road trips. I know the perfect program ensures you’ll have a great time while still leaving you with some flexibility to do more or less as you discover things while you’re at your destination. I’m also a bit of an obsessive researcher so you can be sure that I’ve looked at every possible when putting this together.
Why can’t I just use the information you have here on the blog?
Well, you can, it’s just not downloadable and printable. On top of that, I’ve included some extra things in the itinerary such as driving times between sights, extra tours you could go on, and hotel recommendations for different budgets. The information on the blog is also filled with my personal thoughts and has ads in it, while the itinerary contains purely the information you need. No extra fluff, no ads.
Can I get a paper copy of the itinerary?
When you buy the itinerary, you get it in two pdf versions: a pretty one with photos to keep on your phone or laptop and get you all excited about the places you’ll see, and one without photos that you can easily print yourself.
Do you update this itinerary?
I’ll update this itinerary completely once a year. However, if anyone sends in corrections before that time has come, I’ll make sure to add them immediately. Corrections could be things like changed opening hours or a free parking that becomes paid.
If I have any questions about the itinerary, can I contact you?
